A JOINT-STATEMENT FROM BAREBACK BLOGGERS
We, the undersigned bareback bloggers, unify in this statement today.
We believe in the First Amendment and for all people to express themselves. We have chosen to express ourselves through these blogs.
The actions we take are our own and we believe, as consenting adults, we can enjoy the sexual relations in the manner which we choose.
If you find what we write about as offensive, wrong or immoral, we ask you not to read our blogs. If you follow us on Twitter and you consider what we write as offensive, wrong or immoral, we ask you to block each of us. None of our communications is required reading and we do not force it upon anyone.
Since each of us launched our blogs, we all have received vitriolic lies, terroristic bullying, and even death threats.
Our voices will not be silenced. We shall no longer tolerate further cyber harassment. We will not give these threats or statements a voice in our forums.
We thank our supporters. We thank our readers. We thank those who just ignore us and let us live our lives.

I agree absolutely!
The point is not barebacking - the point is personal choice. If you believe adults can make informed, consensual decisions - that's all there is.
It's called democracy people - now stay out of our bedrooms.
Sadly, this statement is specious, and smacks of the sort of thing the right wing(nuts) spew daily.
If your blogs were "members only", you'd have a point. But they're not. Instead, you glorify activities that even Republicans realize are dangerous both to personal and public health.
The 1st Amendment works both ways. Be prepared to learn that, even if you'll never love it.

Again, something that I rant about in my own blog...stop trying to pass judgment on others...the fucking Evangelical morons are only trying to find validation and you have no business in anybody's private lives.

I enjoy reading about your blog, I accidentally stumbled across it one day and have been hooked on it ever since. The internet is a free place, no one has the right to try and control and censor what is said on here. If the role were reversed and these evangelical people had randoms doing the same things to them as they are doing to you and your fellow bloggers, they would be the first group of people to cry foul. I am only an observer to all of this, as I am not from the U.S., I live in Canada, and I am grateful every day that these evangelical freaks barely have a voice here. The behaviour that they seem to exhibit, from what I've seen on the U.S. media as well as personal experience when I'm over there, is not tolerated here. Where I'm from, there is an understanding which is keep your mind on your own damn business, and out of others. I do not understand the point in creating drama for someone, especially when these people probably have never met any of these bloggers. I think that their energy would be better focused on doing some sort of volunteer work that would better society as a whole by for example organizing park clean ups, instead of wasting this energy on something that doesn't even affect their day to day lives.

Free speech is about being willing to support your opponet's right to openly critize what you believe in.
Your statement indicates that you do not support free speech as you say: "We will not give these threats or statements a voice in our forums."
Which is it?

The point IS indeed personal choice - bit worried StudForRent's blog has vanished when I looked just now, is he okay? I'm in the UK, don't know the guy irl or even 1-2-1 online, but bit worried when someone's just Vamoosed like that...?
Hey PatrickB. Stud For Rent has vanished. I don't know what happened. He never contacted me again. We actually became pretty good friends, or so I thought. I was wrong.
