I was the only child living out of state. My brother was living in the same city with his wife and kids. My parents were downsizing their house to a town home. My mother was ill and they needed my help. My resume afforded me the ability to walk into any gym I wanted and be offered a job right on the spot. I was actually hired sight unseen.
